Charged Up: Coffee and EVs Corinth Square

FREE COMMUNITY EVENT

Charged Up: Coffee + EVs

Learn about EVs from local drivers over coffee.

June 27, 2026

8:30am – 10:30am

Location:

Corinth Square Parking Lot • 83rd and Mission Rd, Prairie Village, KS

Plug-In KC’s first Charged Up: Coffee + EVs brought together local EV owners for a relaxed morning of coffee, conversation, and community at Corinth Square in Prairie Village.

Ten EV owners volunteered to share their experiences at Coffee and EVs Corinth Square, creating a diverse lineup that included Volkswagen ID.4s, a Dodge Charger Daytona EV, Nissan Ariya, MINI Cooper SE, Lucid Air, Tesla Model 3, and a Kia EV6. Community members who stopped by took the opportunity to ask questions about charging, road trips, ownership costs, and what it’s really like to live with an electric vehicle.

The morning wasn’t just valuable for visitors. It was also a chance for EV owners to connect with one another. Drivers wandered from car to car, compared features, swapped stories, and enjoyed seeing vehicles they hadn’t experienced before. From first-time EV owners to longtime drivers, the conversations reflected the welcoming spirit of Kansas City’s EV community.

As the first event in what we hope becomes a recurring series, Charged Up: Coffee + EVs showed how powerful simple, face-to-face conversations can be. There are no sales pitches, no presentations, and no pressure. Just real people sharing their experiences and helping others learn more about driving electric.

A big thank you to everyone who brought a vehicle, shared their time, and helped make our first Charged Up event a success. We also appreciate Hattie’s Fine Coffee for partnering with us and helping create a welcoming space for the community.

We’re already looking forward to the next Charged Up: Coffee + EVs. If you’d like to bring your EV to a future event, we’d love to have you. Click the button below to join our growing roster of volunteer EV owners.

Already an EV Owner?

Help us grow the EV community in Kansas City!

We’d love to have you and your electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle at a future event. As an EV owner, you’ll simply park your vehicle, enjoy a coffee, and chat with visitors and other EV drivers about your real-world ownership experience.

You don’t need to be an EV expert—just willing to share what you like about your vehicle and answer a few questions from the community. Whether you’ve owned your EV for a month or several years, your perspective can help others learn about electric driving in a friendly, low-pressure environment.
